Bart Harder

Bart Harder began his acting career at the Youth Theatre School Meeuw in Leeuwarden, where he performed in various productions for seven years. He then went on to study acting at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Maastricht.

On stage, Bart has appeared in productions such as Disco Pigs and As You Like It, both directed by Theu Boermans.

His screen work includes roles in Schneider vs. Bax, A’dam E.V.A., Kamp Holland, Petticoat, Undercover, Sense 8, Ma mère est folle, and Keizersvrouwen.

More recently, he has featured in acclaimed series such as Hoogvliegers, Mocro Maffia (seasons 2 & 3), Ted Lasso, and the Amazon series Modern Love.

In 2025, Bart plays a leading role in the feature film The North. The film has been praised by critics: The Guardian called it “a deeply immersive hiking drama… perhaps the ultimate hiking film,” while Gazettely described it as “a profound and demanding piece of cinematic asceticism.” Filmtotaal highlighted “the breathtaking nature and authentic atmosphere, though the story sometimes takes a back seat.”
