Dionne Verwey is a performing artist and creative entrepreneur. In 2012, she graduated from the mime school, and for her graduation work MAN, she received the Top Naeff Prize, an incentive award for promising talent. After graduating, she performed with Theatergroep Oostpool, de Toneelmakerij, Theater Rotterdam, and Club Guy and Roni, among others. In 2016, the collective Sir Duke was welcomed as a newcomer to the renowned theater company Orkater. Dionne Verwey is a winner of the Top Naeff Prize (2012), the Joop Mulderplak (2020), and a two-time Colombina nominee for Best Supporting Actress in 2018 and 2021 during the Dutch Theater Festival. In the summer of 2021, she graduated with a Master's in Creative Producing, which allowed her to take on a more socially entrepreneurial approach. In 2023, she can be seen in The Story of Travis at HNT. On screen, Dionne appears in the series Zina, Flikken Rotterdam, and A'dam-E.V.A., as well as in the TV movie Romaissa and several short films like Elements and Yulia & Juliet.
