Juliëtte van Leeuwen is a Dutch actress based in Amsterdam. She graduated in 2024 from the University of the Arts in Amsterdam with a degree in Drama and Contemporary Music Theatre. Her graduation piece was a self-written music theatre performance exploring themes of loneliness and imagination.
During her studies, she spent six months in South America to immerse herself in the Spanish language and culture. She also completed an internship at the Rotterdam-based theatre company Theater Mooi Weer, where she performed in Macbeth. Alongside her training, Juliëtte sang French chansons in churches across the Netherlands, showcasing her musical versatility.
Her screen work includes roles in De Toeslagenaffaire (dir. Joram Lürsen) and the historical series Het Verhaal van Nederland (2024). In 2025, she performed in A Family Portrait, an immersive theatre and installation piece presented at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
This year marks the second time Juliëtte will perform at Festival De Parade, the renowned travelling theatre festival touring the Netherlands.
