Mona Mina Leon studied Drama at RITCS in Brussels, graduating in 2018. During her studies, she completed an internship at HNT, where she performed in Ondine. After graduation, she was selected for the graduate position at The Red Stitch Theatre Ensemble in Melbourne, where she spent two years and appeared in Pomona, directed by Gary Abrahams, a production nominated for the Green Room Awards. Upon returning to Belgium, Mona performed in several plays for Montignards#5, including Retour and So You Think You Can.
On screen, Mona has appeared in Stacey and the Alien, directed by Nelson Polfliet, and Etangs Noirs, directed by Time De Keyser and Piet Dumoulin. In 2022, she landed her first leading role in the television series 1985, playing Vicky Verhellen. 1985 was selected for both Canneseries 2022 and the Berlinale Series Market.
