Reinout Bussemaker
ACTOR
Reinout Bussemaker is a Dutch actor with over 35 years of experience in theatre, film, and television, working both nationally and internationally.
On stage, he has performed in acclaimed productions such as Hedda Gabler, Borgen, Pinokkio, Kom Hier Dat Ik U Kus, Gas, Stoner, and De Liefde Voorbij. In recent years, his theatre work has included Een Vlinder van Sneeuw (2020), Het Indisch Interieur (2022), and Dit is van Ons (2023). In 2025, Reinout joins the long-running Dutch musical Soldaat van Oranje, portraying François van ’t Sant.
His feature-film credits include The Paradise Suite (2015), Grijs Is Ook Een Kleur (2016), The Buffalo Boys (2018), Rafaël (2018), The Host (2020), Quo Vadis, Aida? (2020), Captain Nova (2021), and Goodbye Stranger (2023).
On television, Reinout has appeared in Noord Zuid (2015), Vlucht HS13 (2016), Lovin’ Amsterdam (2017), De 12 van Oldenheim (2017), Lois (2018), Flikken Maastricht (2019–2022), Commando’s (2020), and Rampvlucht (2022).
