Simone Giel

Simone Giel is a Dutch actress trained at the Amsterdam Academy of Theatre and Dance (Amsterdamse Toneelschool), where she was admitted in 2015 and graduated in 2019.

She made her screen debut in The Promise of Pisa (2019, dir. Norbert ter Hall). Her subsequent credits include a lead role in the Netflix film Misfit (2021) and an international guest appearance in Van der Valk (2023).

In 2024, she appeared in the World War II miniseries De Joodse Raad, acting alongside Pierre Bokma and Malou Gorter. That same year, she was selected by European casting directors Nina Haun, Pauline Hansson, and Arwa Salmanova to participate in the International Screen Acting Workshop at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.

In 2025, she appeared in the international drama Safe Harbor, created by Mark Williams (Ozark), alongside Alfie Allen and Jack Gleeson.

Simone began her artistic training at the age of four in classical ballet, later expanding into musical theatre and voice-over work for Disney during her teenage years.
