Thor Braun
ACTOR
Thor Braun is a Dutch actor who began acting at a young age in youth theatre. He played leading roles in the feature films Het Geheim (2010) and the Emmy Award-winning Rabarber (2014). He later portrayed Rikkie in De Boskampi’s (2015) and appeared in television series including Welkom bij de Romeinen (2015), De 12 van Oldenheim (2017), and the improvisational show De Vloer Op (2018).
He gained wider recognition with roles in The Missing (BBC One & Netflix, Season 3, 2019), Oogappels (2019–2024, dir. Will Koopman), and Zeven Kleine Criminelen (2019, dir. Rob Lücker).
Recent film credits include De Belofte van Pisa (2019, dir. Norbert ter Hall), for which he received a Dutch Academy Award nomination, and Mijn Vader Is Een Vliegtuig (2021, dir. Antoinette Beumer).
